101 Dalmatians (1996)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: Technicolor 105m
Director: Stephen Herek
Cast: Glenn Close, Jeff Daniels, Joely Richardson, Hugh Laurie, Joan Plowright

Synopsis:

Two Dalmatian owners, one a video game designer, the other working for a villainous fashion designer, are unwittingly brought together by their dogs, but the advent of pups attracts the rapacious attentions of the fur-hungry Cruella De Vil.

Review:

Disney's classic is updated and given the Babe treatment but without the speech. All the same, the cute anthropomorphism at times ventures beyond the tasteful and the American view of the home counties is bizarre to say the least, encompassing racoons and molasses. The villains save it for adult viewers; kids will love it.
