7th Cavalry (1956)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 75m
Director: Joseph H. Lewis
Cast: Randolph Scott, Barbara Hale, Jay C. Flippen

Synopsis:

After Little Big Horn, a cavalry captain volunteers to retrieve the bodies of the slain command, partly in compensation for his absence from the action.

Review:

Unfortunately, not only naïve but politically unsound in its reverence for Custer, this badly dated movie is nevertheless striking in its fine location photography and classic, abandoned fort opening. After that, interest dwindles up to the gratifyingly but undramatically peaceable conclusion.
