Across the Wide Missouri (1951)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 77m
Director: William Wellman
Cast: Clark Gable, Ricardo Montalban

Synopsis:

A mountain man in early frontier days befriends the Indians and marries a squaw, but she is killed.

Review:

As in Broken Arrow Hollywood couldn't countenance miscegenation with the red skin. Apart from that, this is an above-average western set in a comparatively innocent era, though the Missouri river isn't so much as mentioned.
