All the Money in the World (2017)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/2.39:1 132m
Director: Ridley Scott
Cast: Christopher Plummer, Michelle Williams, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer

Synopsis:

The grandson of oil billionaire J. P. Getty is snatched in Rome and held to ransom for $17 million, but he declines to pay.

Review:

This fictionalised version of true events that took place in 1973 is impeccably recreated down to the finest period detail, but really lacks a single well-written scene for the actors to get their teeth into. In the end Duris comes off the best, with a thick Calabrese accent, and that says a lot!
