Angel Has Fallen (2019)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/2.35:1 121m
Director: Ric Roman Waugh
Cast: Gerard Butler, Danny Huston, Morgan Freeman, Tim Blake Nelson

Synopsis:

Security agent Mike Banning, beginning to show signs of wear and tear, is set up by an old friend in the freelance market as a would-be assassin for the President.

Review:

Cynical third instalment in the now familiar sub-Die-Hard franchise, with its teaser opening that actually has every bit of relevance to the main event, and its black-suited, hi-tech expendables who are no match for the resourceful, lightning quick Banning. We also have a villainous vice-President and none too covert references to the Trump premiership (Trumbull, I ask you) to make it all seem chillingly possible. Best advice: park your credence at the door and enjoy.
