L'assassin habite... au 21 (1942)

£0.00

(The Murderer Lives at Number 21)

Country: FR
Technical: bw 83m
Director: Henri-Georges Clouzot
Cast: Pierre Fresnay, Suzy Delair, Jean Tissier

Synopsis:

A police inspector takes a room disguised as a minister of the church at a boarding house where he suspects a serial killer is lodging. Unfortunately his actress mistress follows him there, eager to help for the sake of some self-publicity!

Review:

Clouzot's comedy thriller was of course one of the films that made him no friends once the war was over. It is quite a fair mystery, with the star on good form, and has nothing whatever to do with the Nazi war effort.
