Back to the Future (1985)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 116m
Director: Robert Zemeckis
Cast: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd

Synopsis:

A high school kid journeys to the Fifties in a time travelling DeLorean in place of his inventor friend, but soon finds his very existence under threat when his mother falls for him instead of for his father.

Review:

The template for film-making in the Eighties: a smart referential script, furious pace and absurdly overstretched cliffhanger situations. When handled with aplomb as the ingredients are here, the results are light entertainment at its best, with lots of clever time-travel stuff for the intellectually minded.
