Big (1988)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 102m
Director: Penny Marshall
Cast: Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Perkins, John Heard, Robert Loggia

Synopsis:

A 12 year-old boy who wishes he could be grown-up at a fairground wakes up the next morning in an adult body. He sets about getting a job, and is a wiz at designing toys, but finds his first experience of love an altogether more confusing proposition.

Review:

Ghastly monosyllabic title notwithstanding (a sign of the times), this was a refreshingly warm and unsticky comedy-with-a-moral, put together with great deftness and brilliantly played by Hanks, who really is twelve years old.
