Billy the Kid (1941)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: Technicolor 95m
Director: David Miller
Cast: Robert Taylor, Brian Donlevy, Ian Hunter, Mary Howard

Synopsis:

William Bonney rides into town with his Mexican sidekick and sets to work for a crooked sheriff who wants to run an honest cattle baron out of business. Then he meets an old friend and switches sides, and his new employer sets out to reform him.

Review:

Straightforward big studio western in colour, with a swarthy Taylor still looking far too refined for the role. The surrogate father plot is a familiar one and the situations are routine, but it's watchable.
