Blithe Spirit (1945)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: Technicolor 96m
Director: David Lean
Cast: Rex Harrison, Kay Hammond, Constance Cummings, Margaret Rutherford

Synopsis:

The first wife of a remarried widower returns to haunt the happy couple, so they call in a medium to exorcise their unwelcome house guest.

Review:

Coward's successful stage play is brilliantly adapted by Lean and his collaborators, consisting of Ronald Neame, who also took care of the Technicolor camerawork, and Anthony Havelock-Allan, Head of Production. The cast is perfection, and the whole thing works like a dream.
