Cactus (1986)

£0.00

Country: AUS
Technical: col 96m
Director: Paul Cox
Cast: Isabelle Huppert, Robert Menzies, Norman Kaye

Synopsis:

A young woman partially loses her sight after a car accident, and forms a relationship with a blind man.

Review:

As in Man of Flowers, the director mixes almost dialogue-free scenes with home-moviesque footage to convey his characters' inner thoughts and visions, but not with the same degree of success. Huppert is fine, but it is all a bit pointless from a dramatic viewpoint, and very slow.
