Carnal Knowledge (1971)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 97m
Director: Mike Nichols
Cast: Jack Nicholson, Arthur Garfunkel, Candice Bergen, Ann-Margret

Synopsis:

Two friends have very differing experiences with women over the decade or two following college: one follows the monogamous path of marriage while the other embarks on a torrid succession of impermanent relationships.

Review:

Taking advantage of the new relaxation in censorship, this was as frank as they came at the time, and even today is hard-hitting and true: adult entertainment in the full sense of the term. When Nichols tried the same thing again three decades later, in Closer, it didn't work so well.
