Damien: Omen II (1978)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 109m
Director: Don Taylor
Cast: William Holden, Lee Grant, Jonathan Scott-Taylor

Synopsis:

The young Damien is adopted by his uncle and aunt and taken to Washington D.C. As he comes of age he learns of his destiny and how he is to use his privileged position close to the centre of world power. Those who stumble upon the truth are dealt with expeditiously.

Review:

More elaborately constructed 'accidents' and a sense of upping the ante preoccupy this second instalment, now that the mystery has been solved and there is essentially nothing new to unfold. Marking time for the dénouement, then, which itself proved just as dispiriting.
