Deadlier than the Male (1967)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: Techniscope 101m
Director: Ralph Thomas
Cast: Richard Johnson, Nigel Green, Elke Sommer

Synopsis:

A British agent is sent to stop a master criminal and his army of female assassins!

Review:

About as far from Bulldog Drummond as you could get, but then what mattered in the sixties was being as close to Bond as possible. Unlike Saltzman's Harry Palmer series, Jimmy Sangster's story takes the female component of the 007 franchise and brings it centre stage, resulting in far more pulchritude than excitement. At least we get to keep Green as the baddie, though.
