DellaMorte DellAmore (1994)

£0.00

(Cemetery Man)

Country: IT
Technical: col 105m
Director: Michele Soavi
Cast: Rupert Everett, François Hadji-Lazaro, Anna Falchi

Synopsis:

A sexton and his assistant guard a cemetery against 'returners', the recently buried who rise as zombies within a week of their interment. However, when he all too briefly possesses a voluptuous widow, only to lose her, he is seduced by Death into despatching the living as well as the living dead.

Review:

Mario Bava meets Sam Raimi, this erotic comedy-horror is pretty incoherent and surely represents a low in Everett's career but offers moments of interest to aficionados of the full-blooded Italian style.
