Dishonored (1931)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 91m
Director: Josef von Sternberg
Cast: Marlene Dietrich, Victor McLaglen

Synopsis:

An Austrian female spy seduces high-ranking enemy officers to obtain information and is eventually shot by the Russians.

Review:

Von Sternberg's crack at a Mata Hari story for his muse is competent stuff for the melodramatic tosh that it is. Proof of its own delight in excess is the scene in which the heroine adjusts her stocking in front of the firing squad.
