Django (1966)

£0.00

Country: IT/SP
Technical: col 95m
Director: Sergio Corbucci
Cast: Franco Nero, José Bódalo, Loredana Nusciak

Synopsis:

Django comes into town, dragging his coffin, and is soon entangled in a feud between Southern white supremacists and Mexican revolutionaries.

Review:

The first Django film brought an upping in the level of nastiness found in the Italian westerns hitherto, though it otherwise only riffs on elements from Leone's films (the Servant of Two Masters, the historical context) while incorporating its own signature gimmick (the coffin).
