Double messieurs (1986)

£0.00

Country: FR
Technical: col/scope
Director: Jean-François Stévenin
Cast: Jean-François Stévenin, Yves Afonso, Carole Bouquet

Synopsis:

In Grenoble a business executive and a former Belmondo stand-in strike up an unlikely association.

Review:

Obscure auteur piece, drooled over by every pseud and highbrow critic in the country on its release, but largely forgotten now. The dialogue is inconsequential, and often incomprehensible, and there are too many arty improvisations and digressions, but it is quirky and possessed of an infectiously melancholic undertow.
