Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977)

£0.00

Country: US/GB
Technical: col 117m
Director: John Boorman
Cast: Linda Blair, Richard Burton, Louise Fletcher

Synopsis:

A child psychologist treats unresolved trauma in the possessed mind of Regan MacNeil, discovering that the demon remains lodged within her, while a Catholic priest dispatched to investigate Father Merrin's untimely death uncovers disquieting evidence in Africa.

Review:

The synopsis says it all: this is one of those 'disunity of action', Casino Royale (1967) style enterprises, with striking, even bravura, moments but a resolution unlikely to be any more conclusive than its predecessor apparently was.
