The Evil of Frankenstein (1964)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 94m
Director: Freddie Francis
Cast: Peter Cushing, Peter Woodthorpe

Synopsis:

The Baron flees from one village to another and revives his monster, before escaping in the climactically inevitable conflagration.

Review:

Fair if predictable sequel, with some spirited sequences, involving in particular Cushing's physical exploits as he eludes the burgomaster and chief of police, escaping from balconies and so forth. As at one point he asks his companion, Hans, why he stays with him one almost expects the rueful response: 'life is never dull around you'.
