F1 (2025)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/2.39:1 155m
Director: Joseph Kosinski
Cast: Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia

Synopsis:

A racing driver who used to be a contender but now just does it for the driving is enticed back into Formula One by an old friend-turned-manager whose team leader is inexperienced and whose car has issues.

Review:

Overlong Bruckheimer/Zimmer fest which trots out hoary clichés about corporate treachery and maverick rule bending but whose races mingle factual footage with fiction to startling effect. Some knowledge of the sport would certainly help, but in the end it's a star-gazer with hi-octane racing sequences and a greater emphasis on strategy. And Pitt is still the most charismatic show in town.
