Fear Is the Key (1972)

£0.00

Country: GB/US
Technical: col/scope 108m
Director: Michael Tuchner
Cast: Suzy Kendall, Barry Newman, John Vernon, Ben Kingsley

Synopsis:

A bereaved man turns undercover investigator, setting himself up as a criminal in order to obtain salvage work on a sunken cargo plane, the last resting place of his wife and kid.

Review:

MacLean's pulp bestseller is taken stateside, namely the bayous of Louisiana or thereabouts. A routinely fast-moving thriller with nothing what it seems, Newman's presence apparently justifying an interminable twenty-minute car chase. After a scrappily made first half the plot gets going and it picks up.
