F for Fake (1973)

£0.00

Country: FR/IR/GER
Technical: Eastmancolor 89m
Director: Orson Welles
Cast: Orson Welles, Oja Kodar, François Reichenbach

Synopsis:

The director, dressed as a charlatan, takes us on a tour of trickery and fakery.

Review:

Rarely has Welles seemed more pleased with himself outside a Domecq commercial, and indeed seems to be wearing the same costume in this playful exposé which even takes in the expositor as its own subject. In short, if you can stand the smugness you may enjoy the occasional cinematic sleight of hand.
