La femme de mon pote (1983)

£0.00

(My Best Friend's Girl)

Country: FR
Technical: col 100m
Director: Bertrand Blier
Cast: Coluche, Isabelle Huppert, Thierry Lhermitte

Synopsis:

Two friends at a ski resort, one who works nights and the other days, sleep with the same woman who returns their affection with impartiality.

Review:

Good-looking comedy shot at Courchevel in which the director explores his characters' foibles and self-doubts with a customarily cavalier disregard for conventional morality. The Coluche character gets the best lines and is touchingly effective as the draw on our sympathies, as his boorish and shallow best mate treats him with contempt. Huppert is delicious as the tart who just does what she is good at.
