The Good Mother (1988)

£0.00

(The Price of Passion)

Country: US
Technical: col 103m
Director: Leonard Nimoy
Cast: Diane Keaton, Liam Neeson, Jason Robards, Ralph Bellamy, Teresa Wright

Synopsis:

A divorced mother risks losing custody of her daughter, when her estranged husband learns she shared a bed with her lover and the child at the same time.

Review:

Dealing with the subject of child abuse from an indirect route (none actually takes place), this well-written and interestingly cast film understandably had less success than other contemporary 'cause' films such as The Accused, since it is not categorical in its conclusion, nor so calculated in its packaging.
