Here Before (2021)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col/2.35:1 83m
Director: Stacey Gregg
Cast: Andrea Riseborough, Jonjo O'Neill, Eileen O'Higgins

Synopsis:

A bereaved mother thinks she sees traces of her daughter in the new neighbours' child.

Review:

A tale of the uncanny that never quite plays its hand, this slow-burn character piece provides a showcase for its star's undoubted talents. However, as with many a British production, it relies too much on sound design, elliptical editing and arty camerawork for its effects. The latter may sustain viewer interest for the modest running time but in the end they fail to disguise a flimsy script.
