How to Marry a Millionaire (1953)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 96m
Director: Jean Negulesco
Cast: Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable

Synopsis:

Three nubile friends torment over whether to marry for love or money.

Review:

Agreeable star comedy, well-cast and with one memorable musical number in Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend. There is, however, no narrative grip and the morality implicit in the whole conception is somewhat swept aside by Bacall's ending up with the best of both worlds. But then, that's Hollywood for you.
