Into the Night (2020-21)

£0.00

Country: BEL
Technical: col/2.00:1 TV series: 420m approx
Director: Jason George
Cast: Pauline Etienne, Laurent Capelluto, Mehmet Kurtulus, Babetida Sadjo, Jan Bijvoet

Synopsis:

Passengers and crew on an overnight flight from Brussels find themselves forced to fly west ahead of the rising sun while they figure out how to escape the apocalyptic effects of a solar storm.

Review:

Reasonably tense Netflix series, the first out of Belgium, and based on a seductive thriller premise. The episodes are too short (35 minutes) and tend to hinge on characters doing unbelievable things despite the stress they are under. The second series was artistically unnecessary, as so often.
