It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 70 210-161m
Director: Stanley Kramer
Cast: Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Jimmy Durante, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas

Synopsis:

Witnesses of a road accident in Nevada race against each other to reach the alleged site of buried treasure, revealed to one of them by the dying driver.

Review:

'The Wildest Chase Comedy on Record!' screamed the headline, and certainly the longest. Kramer for some reason decided he would take a break from meaningful drama and mount the last word in slapstick destruction. It's the typical 1960s phenomenon of Hollywood trying too hard to lure its audience away from their living rooms, before beating them into submission for three hours. Inevitably there are choice moments in some of the performances.
