Kiss Me Deadly (1955)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 105m
Director: Robert Aldrich
Cast: Ralph Meeker, Albert Dekker, Cloris Leachman

Synopsis:

A private eye picks up a terrorised young woman on the highway and finds himself involved in the struggle for possession of a mysterious black box.

Review:

Astonishingly brutal for its time, this is one of its director's best films, a tough, compelling scenario of blousy women, uncompromising men and infernal retribution. Having said that, it presents a private eye who is seriously flawed from the outset, and hardly redeems himself from there on.
