Looper (2012)

£0.00

Country: US/CHI
Technical: col/2.35:1 119m
Director: Rian Johnson
Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano

Synopsis:

A criminal underworld of the future employs low-rent assassins from the past to liquidate the unwanted persons it sends back in time to them, including, ultimately, their hapless selves. However, one 'looper' determines to buck the system.

Review:

Fairly effective, if distasteful, time-travel thriller, which pretty much sidelines the technicalities of the process, and even throws in a befuddling curveball halfway through, but it picks up when Blunt's character and her kid enter the frame.
