Lost in America (1985)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 91m
Director: Albert Brooks
Cast: Albert Brooks, Julie Hagerty

Synopsis:

Husband and wife professionals take the radical step of giving up their jobs and going in search of America in a Winnebago.

Review:

The very talented Mr Brooks dominates this slight but unpredictable satire for the 1960s generation who missed out on all the rebelling and hanging loose. 'My wife and I have dropped out', and 'nest-egg', are leitmotifs in the script, which does not outstay its welcome; indeed, everywhere there is a rigour not often found in unconventional entertainments.
