Love and Human Remains (1993)

£0.00

Country: CAN
Technical: col 98m
Director: Denys Arcand
Cast: Thomas Gibson, Ruth Marshall, Mia Kirshner

Synopsis:

David and Candy are ex-lovers who now follow very different paths in urban Edmonton, Alberta. The film tracks their friends, lovers and contacts while a serial killer stalks the environs.

Review:

The director of Déclin de l'empire américain pursues that film's rich seam of modern sexual mores through a scenario (based on a play) that seems to draw on Pandora's Box (1928). It is frank adult entertainment that gradually loses its way through narrative overload.
