A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col/1.78:1 30m
Director: Nick Park
Cast: Peter Sallis, Sally Lindsay

Synopsis:

Wallace and Gromit have converted the house into a windmill-cum-bakery and run a home-delivery bread business (trading as Dough to Door). Their livelihood is boosted by the demise of a number of bakers in the area in sinister circumstances, but Wallace's survival is in turn under threat when he meets and falls in love with the serial killer, Paella Bakelite.

Review:

Typically inventive animation with some particularly lavish props and set pieces, such as the opening 'out of bed' routine, a runaway bicycle episode and a finale involving a bomb and a hot-air balloon.
