Mamma Mia! (2008)

£0.00

Country: US/GER/GB
Technical: Technicolor/Panavision 109m
Director: Phyllida Lloyd
Cast: Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Julie Walters, Dominic Cooper

Synopsis:

A daughter about to marry on her Aegean island home invites the three men who might be her father to the wedding, unbeknownst to her mother. They all come and sparks fly.

Review:

Highly successful musical show brought to the screen by its creators, constructed entirely around Abba songs. The location is terrific, the songs work well and are delivered with gusto; the men seem distinctly ill at ease. Harmless, immensely enjoyable fun, but will it last?
