Milius (2013)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 103m
Director: Joey Figueora, Zak Knutson
Cast: doc.

Synopsis:

From his old-fashioned upbringing via rejection from service in Vietnam on account of asthma, the roguishly reactionary writer-director emerges as a cross between John Wayne (man of action) and John Huston (raconteur). Friends and colleagues testify to his extraordinary gift for dialogue, as well as his self-destructive and naïve political stance.

Review:

An engrossing documentary which spans much of the same terrain as Biskind's Easy Riders Raging Bulls and is a must for anyone interested in how the Hollywood of yesteryear became the Hollywood of today.
