Monkey Business (1952)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 97m
Director: Howard Hawks
Cast: Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers, Charles Coburn, Marilyn Monroe

Synopsis:

A research chemist working on a youth elixir is one-upped by his chimpanzee assistant, who haphazardly mixes a potion in the water cooler. Chaos ensues, marital and otherwise.

Review:

Hawks revisits the Bringing Up Baby formula again, which is really more about a special kind of Grant role than the involvement of an animal. Despite the comic talent involved it never quite catches alight, which didn't stop him trying again with Rock Hudson in Man's Favorite Sport.
