Moonraker (1979)

£0.00

Country: GB/FR
Technical: col/scope 126m
Director: Lewis Gilbert
Cast: Roger Moore, Michel Lonsdale, Lois Chiles, Corinne Cléry

Synopsis:

The latest threat to global security comes from the hijack of a space shuttle, which criminal visionary Drax intends to use to help him spread a genocidal pathogen across the planet and start a new colony based on eugenics in space. The fifty year-old Moore naturally passes himself off as a prime specimen.

Review:

And so they got sillier, with the ill-advised retention of Richard Kiel as Jaws, a throwback to Universal horror pics, and a wanton use of locations in France, Argentina, Guatemala, Florida, Brazil... At least they got John Barry back to do the music.
