Moulin Rouge (1952)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 119m
Director: John Huston
Cast: José Ferrer, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Katherine Kath, Suzanne Flon

Synopsis:

The life and loves of dwarf artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

Review:

Huston and his team capture the atmosphere of fin de siècle Paris admirably well, and Ferrer delivers a magnificent performance in the main role, probably the best of his career. Above all, this is a triumph of humanity over deformity, and a brave film for its time.
