The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col/scope 125m
Director: Guy Hamilton
Cast: Roger Moore, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Maud Adams

Synopsis:

Bond is sent a golden bullet with his number on it and goes in search of arch assassin Scaramanga in the Far East.

Review:

Moore's stiff way with the part is not enhanced by the fact that Bond seems forever one step behind his opponent. The jokes are more profuse and cornier than ever, and there are signs of the recycling of old ideas - and reference to contemporary fads - which was to cheapen the formula. On the plus side the locations are great and Lee a suave villain.
