Synopsis:
A nineteenth century scientist is over a hundred years old but has found the secret of staying young by replacing a gland with that of a younger person every once in a while. The only snag is that his surgeon colleague has had a stroke and cannot perform the operation.
Review:
Hammer horror's favourite German import again plays a dashing monomaniac with a romantic subplot. All quite lurid and hysterical, but it kept the crew busy and no doubt provided Roger Corman with the inspiration to cast Miss Court in his Poe films.
