The Mercenaries (1968)

£0.00

(Dark of the Sun)

Country: GB/US
Technical: col/scope 100m
Director: Jack Cardiff
Cast: Rod Taylor, Yvette Mimieux, Kenneth More, Jim Brown

Synopsis:

Mercenaries travel by train through the civil war-torn Congo, their goal a fortune in uncut diamonds. Meanwhile, blood-thirsty rebels, internal dissension and a time-lock jeopardize everything.

Review:

Notoriously sadistic and reprehensible adventure movie (I mean, the kind of people we are supposed to be rooting for?), much cut about on television screenings (the BBFC gave it an 'X').
