The National Health (1973)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 97m
Director: Jack Gold
Cast: Jim Dale, Lynn Redgrave, Eleanor Bron

Synopsis:

Doctors and nurses in a British hospital play at... well, you know.

Review:

Not as over the top as it would have been in other hands, this hospital soap 'send-up', however spot-on in its blackly comic aspects, is heavygoing, and Carl Davis's vicious circle of Tchaikovsky 'bleeding chunks' on the soundtrack becomes as tiresome as it is incongruous.
