One Million Years BC (1966)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 100m
Director: Don Chaffey
Cast: John Richardson, Raquel Welch

Synopsis:

A brownhaired and hirsute caveman is separated from his tribe and comes into contact with a blond, less primitive tribe whose alpha female particularly takes his fancy. However, with dinosaurs around, the course of prehistoric love does not run smooth.

Review:

Hammer remake which is no less flawed in premise than the original, but offers colour, animated monsters of the stop-motion variety, and the even more commercial special effect of its glamorous star in an animal-skin bikini. Derivative sequels followed, but Miss Welch did not.
