One from the Heart (1981)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 101m
Director: Francis Ford Coppola
Cast: Frederic Forrest, Teri Garr, Raul Julia, Nastassja Kinski

Synopsis:

A Las Vegas couple quarrel and split, spending the 4th of July apart. Will they reconfigure with new partners or get back together?

Review:

It was the perhaps the foregone conclusion of its premise, together with the calculated artifice of its execution, that discouraged audiences from going along to be surprised by an excess of style, but in his first Zoetrope project Coppola blew a lot of money doing exactly that: making us gasp. Alas, it doesn't make up for a lack of substance, a problem with much of his 80s work.
