Review:
Archly acted, unconvincingly written thriller, with the American star behaving like a wild west hero despite his egregious crimes, and a rather tacky subplot involving a blind teenager who falls for him. It is not even very clear where the action is supposedly taking place, and Mr Bates's roving accent does little to settle the matter.
