Pauline à la plage (1982)

£0.00

(Pauline at the Beach)

Country: FR
Technical: col 94m
Director: Eric Rohmer
Cast: Arielle Dombasle, Amanda Langlet, Pascal Greggory

Synopsis:

An adolescent girl decides whether or not to emulate her tarty friend during a holiday at the seaside.

Review:

Ironic and stimulating coming of age comedy, featuring some stalwart Rohmer types: Pauline is a delightful character, much more clear-headed than the adults who try to advise her; Marion hides her complete emotional incompetence with endless platitudes; Henri is the serpentine seducer who should have stayed a mere intellectual.
