Les ripoux contre les ripoux (1989)

£0.00

(Le Cop 2/My New Partner at the Races)

Country: FR
Technical: col 108m
Director: Claude Zidi
Cast: Philippe Noiret, Thierry Lhermitte, Guy Marchand

Synopsis:

Our two favourite unorthodox police officers are suspended for some peccadillo and return to find replacements even more corrupt than they were.

Review:

This amiable sequel attempts to reform François and René before having them revert to their former vices as the only way to oust their rivals (the end justifies the means, as you might say). They are further domesticated by a good deal being made of René's fondness for the quaint French practice of trap racing.
