Repo Man (1984)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 92m
Director: Alex Cox
Cast: Harry Dean Stanton, Emilio Estevez, Tracey Walter

Synopsis:

A young punk turns his back on his unappreciative girlfriend and family and joins an automobile repossession company, which involves learning about the ins and outs of this particular sub-culture and becoming involved in the search for a 1964 Chevrolet Malibu with a bounty on its requisition and something inhuman lurking in the trunk.

Review:

Self-consciously quirky indie, when such a thing was a resurgent phenomenon. It launched Estevez, canonized Stanton, but did little business outside college arthouses.
