Synopsis:
1991: a widow of the Troubles moves to Donegal to pick up her painting, and meets a maimed American with a passion for old railways. Thanks to her errant son the Troubles catch up with her.
Review:
Listless, virtually plotless drama, adapted by Shelagh Delaney. Characters go underdeveloped, offering each other endless cups of tea washed down with whiskey; Christie seems to be forever sighing, because they haven't given her anything to do; there's a gratuitous nude bathing scene (which she passes, in long-shot, with flying colours) and an embarrassingly unconvincing bit of oral sex. Great to see the stars back together again, but that was probably a bridge too far.
